Mehran Elminia

The works of Iranian painter Mehran Elminia hover between abstractionism and unintentional figuration, an enormous variety of brush strokes, form and his vivid palette. He often works for up to twenty hours at a stretch, never being further away than a metre from the canvas, and attempts to arrive at an almost ecstatic state where he can totally lose himself in the act of painting.

Mehran Elminia was born 1975 in Tabriz, Iran, and currently lives and works between Tehran and Rome and London .Elminia has exhibited with several galleries and art fairs in Italy including Rome International Art Fair and Milan International Art Fair along with solo exhibitions in Iran. He has further contributed to group exhibitions in Dubai and Rome.
