Biography

After having lived in South America, the artist really started his exhibition activity from 1972 when he moved to Rome. He enters in contact with the roman circle of artists: he meets Forunato Bellonzi, Lorenzo Tornabuolli, Carlo Cattaneo, Alberto Sughi, Jose Ortega, Pedro Cano, Robert Dieter Kopp, and others as well.
In 1975 he moves to Anticoli Corrado, and later to Labro in the eighties. After having travelled in China in 1986, he moves to Germany in 1988, and finally goes back to Rome in 1991, living between Germany and Italy.
His painting is mainly about the visionnary interpretation of life, treating themes like the torment of persecutated humanity, the visionnary ghosts of life and affections in which one believes. The visionnary realism of his painting is the result of the hold culture projected in a fantastic, wild-eyed and rigorous dimension.
